Start of fabrication for offshore Oil & Gas at the Wakamatsu yard in Kitakyushu, Japan 1970's
1981
Development of Gulf of Thailand started and 1st PF of Thailand was delivered by Wakamatsu yard in 1981.
1987
TNS (Amara yard) was established in 1987 by Nippon Steel Corporation (a worldwide leader in steel manufacturing and engineering), Nippon Steel Trading and Italthai Group (a Thai Industrial Conglomerate).
